Even though Mrs. Mayer has gone the only thing I deeply regret is, not saying I love you, because not only was she like the grandmother I never had but a caring, sweet and gentle person to all, no matter whom she was talking to. She knew what pain and suffering meant and didn't want anyone to go through what she was going through yet, she was still brave and strong. It is not enough to say that Mrs. Mayer will be missed... but its a start.
ReplyDeleteOn the 25 of June after the grades were handed out I headed towards Mrs. Mayer gave her a hug and said "Thank you" and her response (that broke my heart with joy to hear for the first time in my life) was " You deserve it " and if it weren't for her I wouldn't have had the opportunity to improve so, thank you again.
I knew about her since 1995 and I worked with Sir. Leonard M. Mayer. I know she made a lot of things for the people of Mexico. Bye beautiful lady.
